In the middle of Old City in Central Jakarta, there lies this fascinating building. It is old and decrepit, it's falling apart, clearly abandoned and who knows what the squatters inside are doing. But I was in a trance while photographing it, I was mesmerized and couldn't help but wonder about the history of this structure.
Just a couple of visitors enjoying Kuta Beach in Bali. Kuta beach is a major attraction in Bali. And although it is very touristy, it is easy to meet a group of locals who will show you a great time.
This is another one of Bali's beaches, called Pandawa. This beach is located in the Bukit about half an hour motorbike ride from Kuta. Tourists come here, but it's mostly Indonesian tourists from other parts of Indonesia, as opposed to international or Western tourists. It's one of the cleanest beaches in Bali, the water has perfect shades of aqua, turquoise and blue. There are also seaweed farmers along this beach. The people are friendly and it's very low key.
