Jogja is a city in Central Java Indonesia. It is considered to be the art capital of Indonesia. Some of the finest street art in the world can be found here. Why? Because graffiti is legal in Jogja, but not other parts of Indonesia. Artists have the freedom and time to create masterpieces that are welcomed and beloved by the city.
Taken inside of a friends restaurant. The chef was from The Bahamas and the owner was from New York. They asked me to come in and take some shots of their place one day and this was probably my favorite one I got.
In the middle of Old City in Central Jakarta, there lies this fascinating building. It is old and decrepit, it's falling apart, clearly abandoned and who knows what the squatters inside are doing. But I was in a trance while photographing it, I was mesmerized and couldn't help but wonder about the history of this structure.
