This was originally just a picture of a bumblebee sucking some nectar out of a purple flower. I played with some levels in photoshop and stumbled upon this effect. It was a keeper. It reminds me of those black velvet photos that light up under a black light. This photograph was taken in Red Hook, Brooklyn.
A path in the woods by the lake I grew up next to in Connecticut. I spent most of my summer days here as a child and would hike up this path constantly. I went back last summer and hiked up it again for the first time in ages. It was incredible to see the same details I had remembered from so many years ago.
Welcome to Grand Central Station. It seems that every hour is rush hour in Grand Central. This place is constantly packed with commuters and travellers alike. I go to Grand Central to take the train back to my Mother's house in Connecticut. This has always given me a sense of home.
